Pickersgill Manor Farm is a working farm situated on Silsden Moor, on the edge of the Dales. We are a modern farmhouse with a traditional feel and have created the perfect place to get away and relax while enjoying a break or escaping from impersonal city hotel chains whilst on business. We have three rooms and can cater for single and/or working people, couples and families of all ages.
All our rooms are large, have fantastic views, colour televisions, tea and coffee facilities, sofas, central heating, hairdryers, etc. One of our rooms is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. A full English breakfast is served around the big table in the farmhouse kitchen and where possible we serve fresh local produce, often home grown.
Walkers will find scenery and challenge to suit everybody whether you prefer a gentle stroll at Bolton Abbey or a long walk over the limestone uplands of Malham you will find plenty to attract you.
Bolton Abbey, Skipton, Haworth and Ilkley are all within 15 minutes drive. The Spa town of Harrogate, historic York, The Yorkshire Dales National Park, Leeds and Bradford are also within easy driving distance. There are canal trips in Skipton, railway excursions in Keighley and Bolton Abbey, horse riding and every major village has it’s own agricultural show during the summer.
Keen mill shoppers will have the choice between Boundary Mills, Ponden Mill, Scartop, Oswaldtwistle Mills, Watershed Mill and the Jumper Factory Shop all within an easy drive.
For evenings out there are a host of excellent pubs and restaurants in the surrounding towns and villages.
